About me

My love of crystals and all things witchy began when I was just a teen, I used to love going to the little alternative shops in nearby towns on the weekend to find new crystals, herbs and oils for my collection. I also loved researching their properties and metaphysical uses and finding ways to used them in my everyday life. I've always been creative and artistic, and loved the artwork I found in the crystal and witchcraft books I purchased. This inspired me to start making jewellery and other crafts for me and my Mom as a hobby, and as time went on I found more and more people were interested in my jewellery which lead to me setting up Wishful Willow Crafts on Etsy in late 2016. I started off using wire to make simple pendants and bracelets. After many hours researching different jewellery styles and techniques I discovered electroforming, and that was it! I loved the textures that could be created, the freedom of design and how the copper complimented the crystals. I loved that each piece was one of a kind and that even if I made the same design it never 'grew' the same. After extensive research in early 2018 I took the leap and ordered the supplies I needed to teach myself how to electroform. After a few years of perfecting my copper technique I dabbled in Fine Silver electroforming too, which I absolutely loved. I also taught myself in how to use the tiffany soldering technique to make my popular Kyanite Broomsticks and keyrings. Due to circumstances out of my control I had to take a break from electroforming, which lead to me really taking my soft soldering seriously, and I've really enjoyed working at, and perfecting this technique. It means I can offer larger, more complex designs with an affordable price tag and each piece is still one of a kind due to the textures and finishes that can be created. Affordable pricing is important to me and is the reason I've chosen the materials I have.

I also sell free-standing and loose crystals. I have designed the crystal information cards that go alongside my orders to help you remember and learn the properties for each different crystal. 

When I'm not busy creating I'm half of the team behind the amazing Witch Elm Markets which is an alternative artist market I run with my partner in crime Stef.
